Upcoming ALA Reach Events
Spark! Virtual Community of Practice
Spark! is a virtual community of practice designed to foster conversation and share best practices about trending school issues and challenges. Each session focuses on a specific issue through a case study and a short didactic, or mini-lesson, and conversations guided by our Hub team of Arkansas educational leaders. Synchronous sessions are offered on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM. The didactic and case study presentations as well as a summary of discussion suggestions will be available for on-demand viewing through the Wisdom LMS.
ALA Reach values engagement. We encourage teachers, teacher leaders, aspiring leaders, and administrators to submit a case study or problem of practice they would like addressed in an upcoming Spark! session. Click here to submit a case study or problem of practice.
The next Spark! session is scheduled for Wednesday, November 3. Dr. Peter DeWitt will be the special guest presenter. His focus topic will be “Empowering School Leadership Teams.” Click here to register now. Please note, there will not be a case study or particular problems of practice presented during this session.
