Executive Leadership Collaborative
How do leaders improve a school district, community or state, faced with changing contexts of expectations and accountability? What are the skills and strategies needed to bring excellence to all students or community members? The Executive Leadership Collaborative will explore these questions and others. Through the use of leading research and effective tools, this collaborative will allow you to reflect on your practice as you connect with other local and state leaders. The work of the Academy encompasses five leadership performance strands needed to successfully lead a district, community and state through the challenges of the change process.
The purpose of this collaboration is to convene a diverse group of educational leaders to develop and refine leadership skills necessary to support and expand organizational capacity. This professional learning experience design will be a participant-driven collaborative focused on innovation and exploration of current topics/issues. Participants will have the opportunity to network with other leaders and be immersed in collegial sharing through think-tank experiences. Ideal participants are school superintendents, district office leaders and executive-level educational leaders.
